  • Equipment Evaluation

    We evaluate installed equipment or equipment under consideration for acquisition by a customer, to determine its suitability for the intended use. We offer suggestions for modification of existing equipment to improve its suitability for intended use and we assist in locating suitable used equipment, where necessary.

    With over 50 years in the industry, we have the experience and know-how to recommend and size equipment for your finishing operation. We have experience with every manufacturer and type of compressive shrinking machine and can recommend best practices to improve quality and efficiency.

  • Mechanical and Operational Audits

    We audit installed shrinking machines, laboratory physical testing equipment for cloth shrinkage testing, equipment used in preparation of cloth to be pre-shrunk, shrinking machine maintenance procedures, rubber belt repair and replacement procedures, felt blanket replacement and shrinking machine operator and maintenance personnel skills. At the completion of the audit, a detailed report is provided on the areas evaluated, current problems if any and specific recommended changes or improvements. At the completion of the report, a meeting can be scheduled if necessary to present and ask any questions.

  • Technical Assistance

    We provide complete assistance with solving any problems related to processing of cloth via the compressive shrinking machine (sanforizer) including cloth preparation, testing, improvement of cloth appearance, increasing machine production speed, and solving shrinkage control problems.

    Training

    We evaluate and train personnel including shrinking machine operators, laboratory cloth shrinkage testing personnel, shrinking machine and rubber belt maintenance personnel, cloth inspection and handling personnel, and cut and sew personnel. More information here.
